Creating a blank document.

 To create a blank file click - File then New.

 Once opened choose International Paper.

Change the Size to A4 and the Resolution to 300 with it being in inches for the best quality.

If the file is desired as Landscape instead of Portrait, click Image, Image Rotation and choose 90°.
