Formatting the image.

 To format an image, click - File, then Save as.

Here you can decide what format you want the image, a JPEG file is suitable for small or experimental files; Photoshop and TIFF files are ideal for final images as they give the highest quality images.

Finally once you have formatted the image and clicked Save, in the Image Options move the Quality to its maximum as this will give the best quality images.
